Oh, is that what the Action Max was? Interesting.

    How about the InteractiveVision, then?

It's true that the question of whether a console is good or bad is often linked to its library of games (with the exception of the Atari 5200, usually considered as a bad console because of its crummy joysticks). This said, the Gameboy seemed like a really bad handheld console when compared to the Game Gear and the Lynx (boy, did the people at Atari laugh when they saw that green monochrome screen!), and yet, the GB is the one that has survived among the three, thanks to its lower price tag AND its game library.

As far as truly terrible systems go, I nominate Bandai's Playdia. Released in the mid-90's, it features only a handful of games, nearly all of which are boring anime-based FMV titles and "edutainment" crapola. The only pleasant aspect of the console is the convenient bay on the front that stores the controller. Hoo-ray.

N64....because of the awful fuzzy graphics, couldn't play it longer than 1 hour at a time. For me, the WORST console in history.

GX4000...UK tries it's hand at a gaming console, and fails....

Gamate....bad attempt to take on the Game Boy.

    CD32...WHY????

    C64GS...again WHY????

    IBM Jr. ....just kidding!!!!

I lost all respect for this thread the moment people classed the N64 in the same catagory as consoles like the 32X and Game.Com.

mauigamer couldn't agree with you more, people just blow it right out of proportion and they all jump on the bag the N64 bandwagon because it wasnt the SNES! It's pathetic.

If you didn't like games like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Goldeneye, Sin & Punishment and countless others there's something seriously wrong with you.

    Why were N64 graphics fuzzy?
