Why is it shocking?, there are reasons, do you care to explain?Originally Posted by sonicteam

Maybe not shocking, but its not that usual afaik. I was thinking, only 400,000 consoles for now, will the stores have alot of PS3 games just standing there since most people dont have the console? I wonder when the next batch of consoles will come.
I wouldn't worry about content. There will be plenty of games for the lucky ps3 owners to play come launch. The 400,00 units only really pertains to the console, not the games.Originally Posted by jajaja

Ye, but i mean, the games are avalible, but not that many consoles. Will the game just be in the shelf as eye candy? I doubt many have the interest of buying the games without owning the console (which not many will to start with).
Well if I was planning to wait for a PS3 launch day I would most likely pick up some games right now.
That way I could leave the store as soon as possible on launch day. I imagine stores will be crazy launch day and having games would be one less hassle to deal with.
Is there a definitive number of how many games will launch with the PS3?
