Default WTF?! Ebayer no longer registered? help?

I had a buyer win one of my auctions with a BIN, and i get an email from him the next day asking about the item, and its condition.. then the next day his ebay account becomes, no longer registered.

What has caused this, can ebayers become no longer reg'd or has ebay done this to his account for something else?

Any help peeps, would be good!

He could have had his Ebay account in arrears for too long. Or it is possible he just received his 3rd non-payment strike.

Just email him and ask him if there is a problem with his account, then judge the truthfulness of his answer.

You can personally ask eBay to drop you as a registered user.. anytime you want. Over the years.. in fits of anger at them.. I've considered it and asked them about it. The only stipulation is at the time of the request you have no "active" bids open and no active auctions running. You then tell eBay to drop your account.. and it's done.. that simple. Whether he got dropped willfully or not.. only he can answer. Your transaction with him has already ended as far as eB is concerned.. they don't care if you get paid or not (bastards that they are) and would drop him if he requested now.

I heard you the first time , i think he might have asked ebay, since he started asking questions the day after he used the BIN.

Also can he reactivate his account? the first thing that i thought was he didn't want to pay and to save paying and to save his feedback which is 100% he could just become "no longer reg'd" and wait till the 90 days have passed? (regarding feedback)

I have sent him an email since he emailed me first. It looks like (by his feedback) he has bought alot of snes stuff mainly games and alot of it sealed games, the item i was selling was a snes sealed game as well.

We'll have to see, if it's just by chance it's happened the way it has.

    Thanks for the replies guys!

This isn't a big deal and is something that happens fairly frequently.

If he pays, and has feedback to suggest he's not a scammer, I would complete the transaction as per usual.

If he doesn't pay, simply file a NPB report and you will get your fees back immediately. You won't have to wait the week since he's NaRUed and cannot respond.

Most likely, he received three NPB strikes or had other similar strikes against his account (making deals off ebay, etc). I wouldn't worry about it.
