    The guide says 10/85 for the NES. Personally I feel the Mario Bros. of the arcade and Atari 2600 as the originals and when they came to be rather than the tacky Super infront of the titles. It was nice of them to put those original Mario Bros. levels in SMB3 when you enter the initial space in map.

    October 1985 for North America. September of 1985 for Japan.
