I really dont know what to say. On one hand i hate patents like this that stops other people to make something simular. On the other hand i can understand that the developers wants to have their invention of their own. But i understand this pantent to be pretty broad, which imo fucking sux :\

There are too many patent trolls. I am unsure if such is the case, but there's been too many stupid lawsuits brought up lately by patent trolls.

Its always from some RANDOM company too. So they are saying they have a patent on a Trigger feature? I suppose this would effect all trigger type functions that are used in various electronic devices, as a trigger is nothing more then a type of switch. But of course the Wii is in the news so they bring it up against them, big surprise. Gotta love patent trolls.

Screw patenting all trigger-activated electronic devices.... why not patent ALL electronic devices?! The patent and suit are both ridiculous. This company needs to be shut down and it's board members should walk the plank (just off the coast. we don't need to kill them). Stuff like this wastes my money as a tax payer and I don't appreciate it.

Years back, Apple got sued by a company claiming that Apple's ColorSync software (calibration software for monitors and printer output) infringed on one of their copyrights. Eventually, it was discovered that the company didn't even have any copyrights that were anywhere close to what Apple was doing. The whole thing was a scam to get their company's name in the press.
