The awesome Kaze Kiri has been beaten; the good no-kill-the-princess ending at that. ^_^
And I also beat Virtua Cop 1 and 2 today. They're both fun games, but some hits can be pretty danged cheap at times. 2 especially had me screaming in frustration with those jetpack bastard at the end of the second mission. >_<
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

Just beat the Minish Cap. Done everything in the game to do except get 1 heart piece.

My major complaint is the game was way too short.

I just had an undefeated season on Fifa 07 for the PS2 with Inter Milan.
Kameo for the 360. Beautiful but more of a chore than a game.
It's been a slow season for me beating games, but I did manage to finish off the single-player campaign in Delta Force: Black Hawk Down for the PS2. Once again my gaming ignorance has been to my advantage since I never played the original PC game. I guess quite a bit of the experience was chopped out of the port, but I didn't read any of the reviews of it until after I had finished it. Honestly, I thought that it was a good FPS in a great setting. There were some problems, but it was a nice change from fighting some nameless enemy in a barely visible setting. Trecking through the desert, or riding shotgun in a mounted vehicle weapon was good twitch shooting.
On a side note: I really need to play more games with sunlight in them. I didn't realize until this game, but 90% of the stuff I play through takes place in darkness or claustraphobic conditions. It was nice being blinded by the sun for once.
God of War so far.

#7 - Okami (PS2)
Pointlessly drawn out and repetitive gameplay with some seriously bland level work. They really should have cut the game down a fair amount (like...to a third of its present length). I wonder if anyone that reviewed it actually bothered to play through the game or if they rated it based on the first hour or two of gameplay, because god DAMN does it get old fast. Maybe everyone was just happy to have such a uniquely beautiful game that lasted a long time and didn't much care about the actual quality of it...
Took me 32 hours 38 minutes to beat it but it somehow felt like 32 days.
But yea, great writing, graphics, and music. If they trimmed it way way way down and tightened it up a hell of a lot, it could have been on par with Beyond Good & Evil...but it's a pretty fucking far cry from it as it stands.
Yeah, I agree in many respects. I have a stack of about 12 games on top of the PS2 that I started playing and plan on finishing. Okami has been there since release. It's fun, but I just can't find the motivation to slog through the rest of it (according to your time I'm about 1/2 through it). Ususally, I'm not a big stickler on voice acting either, but the constant beeps and boops when people speak is annoying, I would have rather read text with no sou d effects at all.
I just finished off Adventure Island for the PCE on my PSP. I was expecting Master Higgins, but was treated to a nice clone of Milon's Secret Castle (one of my NES favorites). I can't understand a lick of Japanese and had to restart a few times to even find which line of gibberish that was the start game button. Luckily, beyond the story, there is enough English to figure out what is going on. I was about to stop playing when the beginning 10 minutes of the game suffer from the Lagoon effect on the SNES, you primary weapon of attack is little more than a glorified butter knife with a few inch reach.
