    Default Vectrex controller

Hi, I just got myself a Vectrex and it would seem that I have the dreaded old joystick problem of self centering witht the up and down. I have read a guide:
http://www.playvectrex.com/shoptalk/...oyrepair_f.htm on how to fix this problem. My concern is that there aren't any pictures and I don't know how difficult it is to replace the springs on the controller. I am worried that I may damage the original controller. Any indepth help will be very appreciated. I want to restore this piece of vintage masterpiece back to it's full glory.

    Thanks

This isn't exactly the best place for vectrex questions. There aren't that many hardcore collectors here and there may not be that many of them who have fixed their controllers themselves. I would direct you to vectrexforum.com but it seems that the site is down. I haven't fixed any of the controllers that I have, so I can't help you.
