    Default How hard is it to switch a NES flap (lid) on a console

    I think i might be trying to swtich a lid on my NES. i have never done this before and dont even know if its possible. Can anyone gimma some info on this?

    As in lid i mean the front flap on the fron of a nes toaster.

    Just swap out the entire top part... Those plastic parts get brittle with age.
    I have two basic food groups, fast and frozen.

    Open up the Toaster, look underneath the top portion and there are 2 or 3 tiny screws. Unscrew them, pop the flap up, and slip the new one in. Takes about 2 minutes to complete the job

    The little flap part? You can take that off without even opening the cover, atleast I had no problem doing it as a kid.

    SWEET! thanks guys! yea i have to put a pin connector in it anyway, so that will work out good then if its that easy. i haveent opened up a nes system in a while and couldnt remeber if you can get to the lid on them or not. thanks!
