I've got a problem buyer. At first he was just annoying. He sent cash from Sweden and freaked out everyday after 2 days it wasn't here. While we were waiting for payment we listed another one (we have a box of them) and he freaked out that we were selling his game (we also have over 200 all good feedback, at least 5-6 of them Lunar 2's).
Got his money, sent the item (we paid extra $3 for shipping, no big deal) he gets it, thinks it is great, leaves us good feedback:
Praise : The Lunar 2 game is sealed as stated in the item description.
Then a few minutes later we get this email:
Hi,
I just opened the game, and the game CD's were not correctly in their
place, and look sort of..marked. Nor scratched but have circled marks.
Im not sure this will affect game play, but I will take the game to a
game store and have it checked. I will get back to you if it's something
wrong with it.
Brian told me that not only is the box sealed, but the disks inside are factory sealed too. He had to open both of them.
He emailed again today with this:
I checked with the local game store, Tradition, and according to them
the odd circle marks that are on some of the game CD's were probably made
during production.
Will you replace these CD's or the whole game for me?
Please let me know how we should deal with this issue.
I also see you never left me any feedback upon reciving my payment...
This is how I was thinking of responding. Is it too mean? This guy is really bugging me!
We leave feedback all at once every month or so. We are not responsible for the discs in a sealed game. We've sold many of them and have not had any problems. Not only was the box sealed, but the discs come sealed as well. Any defects on them are the manufacturers fault and you should write to them.
Sorry
Heather
