    Default Outrun 20th Anniversary Box

    http://outrun2sp.sega.jp/a_b/home.html
    http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...n-70-1t2z.html

So, if I'm reading this right, it comes with Outrun 2 SP, ELEVEN CDs of Outrun music, a DVD, and other stuff.

    Such a tease.

$160 is a bit much though.

They already did. It was called Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast. :>

This is just a Japanese localization of a game that was localized for the US and Europe, if that makes any sense. However, it does have support for the Driving Force Pro now, unlike the previous PS2 releases, and a couple new songs.

Saw the title and was hoping it was a collection that had Outrun, Turbo Outrun, Outrunners, and Outrun 2006 bundled together. This doesn't look worth it to me.

SEGA gives Turbo Outrun no love.

A convertible F40 and redone Turbo songs are awesome, but not including the arcade game makes me cry.

Besides, I've made my own "Outrun" soundtrack that includes the known tunes. Those songs on the Saturn version are pretty sweet.

Wasn't the Saturn version perfect enough?

Looking again at the table from the link, and it seems that the first 3 discs includes the arcade versions.

Disc 01 1986 Arcade Out Run
    1989 Arcade Turbo Out Run
    Disc 02 1993 Arcade OutRunners
    2003 Arcade OutRun2
    Disc 03 2004 Arcade OutRun2 SP
    2006 Arcade OutRun2 SP SDX/DX

It would have been cool to include the Arcade or DC version of Ferrari F355 Challenge as we know the love of Yu Suzuki for the Ferrari cars.

I wonder of those are games or just soundtracks.

It's sound tracks (as far as I've heard).

Yeah, but seeing as how this is a 20th Anniversary Box edition, they could easily squeeze it on here along with the other OutRun games.

Those 11 CDs are sound tracks, not old games. And the Saturn Outrun sound track is right there on disc 8.
