I have a few of the gamecube demo discs, Interactive multi-game demo disc 14 and 18. Are these worthless, or do people actually buy them?

THEY ARE WORTHLESS!!
*sigh* Ok, I'll take them off your hands, and to show I'm a good guy, I'll even pay the shipping.
No, I think they sell for about $50. But I could be wrong. I'm interested to hear what others say on this.
I am interested aswell. I have "Version 31" Without the case.
Really? 50$? I have a couple of them at home...maybe I should toss them on the forum for trade fodder.
When they show up on ebay they usually go for about $10-$15. It all depends on what version they are, what games are on them and if they have their cases.
They ARE NOT worth $50...so no one get crazy. They are worth between $10-30 each. Lower end is usually without the case, but can get higher if it is a hard one to get. The ones mentioned here so far ARE NOT hard to get, so they would be worth $10-20 according to whether there is a case or not. There are a total of 35 Demo Discs, I don't see Nintendo putting anymore out....GOOD LUCK!
Mike
Ah, well good to know they aren't completly worthless.
They are only worth nothing if nobody is willing to pay for them.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them
I'm buying all 33 that Bjeong has for $500, so that's a rough indicator of their worth I guess.
Yeah, that's about right. I've noticed that any on eBay that comes with a price higher than $30 usually sits there forever. I would say that probably the first six or seven would be the more difficult ones to get (the ones that state the month they're distributed rather than the Version number). The later discs tend to be much easier to find at the moment, and many of them are almost exactly alike aside from some slight content differences.
I have Gamecube demos 8, 9, 10 and 12 Complete in box---in absolutely perfect condition. Anyone interested?
Kiosk demos? Yes.
That Gamecube preview disc with demos for Splinter Cell, Sonic Adventure DX, etc? My local GameStops and EBs can't get rid of them at the $2.99 price they're going for.
Early kiosk discs are very rare and have gone as much as $80 or more. The average one goes from $10 to $50, pending on condition. I had a near complete set, but sold it for some serious cash. Due to them not being available to the public, these are going to be valuable in the future. Maybe many here dont want to pay much for them, but I got some reto game money from selling the ones I got a hold of. I currently have two extra sealed copies of number 23

On the topic of demos, do any other demos for the gcn fetch anything? Ive got a sleve of 6 RE4 demos, and that one that came with a rogue leader preorder from a few years back. All sealed nonetheless. (I didnt have a gcn at the time)
Welcome to Macintosh.
Not much, they're quite common. The only US GC demo I can think of that's worth something is the Soul Calibur II, which has gone for $20-30 on eBay.
Also the Resident Evil Zero Demo can go for $20-30 but that is about it. I can't recall too many non-kiosk Demos...
The three Pack one Sonic/Splinter Cell/
Pac Man
Resident Evil 4
Metroid Prime 2 (came with Metroid Prime 1 repackaged)
Resident Evil 0
Soul Caliber
Some that some may consider demos (I don't really)...
Zelda Master Quest
Zelda Collectors Edition
Mario Kart Bonus Disc (Came with some Mario DD)
STAR WARS REBEL STRIKE ROGUE SQUADRON III PREVIEW DISC
Feel Free to tell me any I missed
Mike
