ok i got a bunch of genisis stuff today and finally got the thing workin and i was lookin some stuff i got today up and i dont see any thing about a joystick i got for $2
the joystick is a:

6 button Turbo and Auto fire on each button, slow mo option....pretty solid lil bugger
The vast array of Genesis-compatible controllers is something that hasn't really been fully explored. I did notice that your controller was mentioned in the SNES entry though:
