It was Telegames who apparently had the big stack of Kizunas. God only knows what happened to them. Those that weren't sold were probably sent back to SNK and recycled into new games.

But atm, Euro Kizuna FTW. Sold at retail, and only 4 copies know to exist.

Probably recycled into Japanese copies (just replace the packaging).

And I redirect you back to the stack of OEM carts for the C64/Vic20 of which were sold at retail as well (mainly in Florida but then again I've seen them turn up all over the world in the last 5 years), and in many cases only 1 or 2 of each are known to exist currently.

Hmm rarest is very tricky. I think the Atari 2600 is obviously the king of having the most super rare games of any system.
Here are some of the rarest NTSC Atari 2600 games as far as known to exist
1.Birthday Mania
1a. Mangia
3. Space Chase Monogrammed
4. Karate Ultravision version
5. Gauntlet
6. A Xante game
7. Air Raid, could be pirate though
8. Video Life
9. Atlantis II
10. BMX Air Master Atari Version
only NES game that is even compares to rarity with these 10 carts is the gold NWC and even then I don't think it makes the top 10 list. This is why no has a complete NTSC Atari 2600 collection.
