I wanted to know what this is and if it's real. I posted this before but I have a photo now. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm guessing it's a demo cart. Not seen that sort of thing before, I wonder if Creative gave them out to show off their game? The game was released etc, not too hard to find or valuable. Not sure about this though. It's probably no different to the released version, have you plugged it in to test?
No, I haven't been able to test it. I don't have a Vic 20 right now. I pulled it out of my remaining Vic 20 carts a few days ago.
I thought LucasArts put out PIPES... And it came out long after the Vic was extinct. Like 1985-86 - maybe later.
??
Nice find pseudonym! Was this a find in the wild? I found a whole big box of VIC-20 games in a church basement sale a while back, lots of rarities, but nothing as unique as yours.
I bought it on Ebay 2-3 years ago, it was in a lot of 12 or so other Vic 20 games.
There was another weird-looking game in the lot as well. It had holes cut into the case in the front and along either side. The board looks like it's slightly too big for the case and there's a dip-switch on it. Anyone seen a Vic 20 cart like that before?
Here's a picture. Sorry for the bad quality.
Dip switches. Which either means some primitive multicart (not that I've heard of such thing yet on the Vic, though there's a project currently to make one) or a memory expansion cart (the one I have has dips to change between 3k, 8k and 16k). Only way to find out, plug it in!
I thought it might have been a expansion cart, but this cart is pretty rough shape overall, and not something a company, I would think, would release in this condition.
I'll buy another Vic 20 in near future and check to see what these cart are exactly. Thanks for your help, Mayhem, Keir, and Technosis.
