I have a what I think could be a fun "challenge" for everyone here (if anyone's interested). A while ago, I put up a post to identify the video game in the opening sequence of the movie "The Goonies". After some speculation, we were successful in ID'ing the game, but now I have a new quest. In the movie Tron, there is the one scene in the beginning of the movie where he's walking through an arcade, just before he goes into the computer program. I want to see how many machines we can ID. I know, some of them will be stupidly easy because they are obviously right in front of you, but how about the stuff people are in front of, or is way in the back? Anybody up to the challenge?

I thought so as well (Sea Hunter), but if you look at the marquee really close, it looks like a "T" and maybe an "O"? something....I can't figure that one out, maybe a conversion?

That is definitly a Sea Wolf on the lower left of the 2nd pic.

I couldnt make heads or tales of any of the pins either.

It is a Sea Wolf 1 machine. You can vaguely make out the silhouettes of the boats on the only visible part of the marquee, sticking out.

Yeah, me too. You would think that with that much marquee visible, it would be an easy one. Funny, though, isn't it? We can ID a "mainstream" classic by one square iinch of sideart, but here we have like half the marquee, and still don't know (yet...). We'll ponder on it some more. And, I agree, the arcade scene from War Games would be cool as well.

Actually I think it is an OR cockpit. The "OMEGA" lettering is above that little 'notch' on the side of the cabinet (the part of the sideart that looks like it should be protruding from the cabinet).

The only problem is - this pic is the only view of the cockpit model, I can fiind. I cant find a picture that shows the rear or front of the cab. That little rocket looking thing on the front would give it away. And if I remember correctly, weren't the Omega Race cockpits pretty small (compared to most others at the time)?

BINGO!! I didn't even know there was a cockpit version of Space Tactics. I see it now... It's almost got that Turbo cockpit design...
