Default When the heck did the Karaoke Revolution Games go NUTS on Price??

Hey guys, I have Karaoke Rev 1-3 that I got for my wife at EB about 6 months ago or more around the area for $24.99 each less 10% GS advantage and B2G1 sale. So got them all 3 for about $45

Since when have they been going for $50-$70???

Needless to say my wife only sings the Country version now, so those babies are going on ebay to go towards my NES Fund.

Just curious when they took off

Woah, that's crazy. A few years ago, I sold 3 sealed Karaoke Revolution 1 bundles with microphone here for $25 shipped. I wish I kept one for myself now. At least I've still got a KR3 bundle though.

Prices probably shot up within the last year. The first two KR games are kinda hard to find and they're great party games, so people won't mind paying $60-$70 for a used copy.

Past couple months, the eBay prices shot up. Still decent priced if you find them in the store.

A buddy of mine pointed that out to me. Also the PS2 Network Adapter seems to have shot through the roof on eBay. I never knew these were tough to find. Go fig.

Last year before I bought a slim PS2, I was looking for a network adapter for my 1st gen PS2. The only place I could find them new was TRU (at $39.99 a pop). Even the used places still sell them for $20.

Wah? Really? Now *that* doesn't make any sense. You'd think most of the PS2 owners would trade up to a slim PStwo instead of shelling out $50 for a network adapter. And I don't even know anyone who plays their PS2 online anymore.

Could it be because they all want them for the HD Loader?

I'm guessing it's the HD loader. Personally, I couldn't live without mine.

I sent one to a friend because all the ones on Ebay were in the $50-70 region, at least at the time. I two up at $14 each. *shrugs*

The KR games have been getting pretty popular lately, especially with the new American Idol version. It's probably just going to be a short-lived spike in the prices ion Ebay - you can still find the old games pretty cheap in stores, and I noticed at Target last night that the game/mic bundles have dropped to $40.

I've been selling used PS2 Network Adapters for $45 on ebay consistently. Most of them seem to sell to Europe. I don't know if that's a coincidence or not.

I'm looking into the KR games right now. Thanks for the heads up!

Just looked on ebay. Looks like the Xbox versions are dirt cheap. So it appears PS2 vol 1,2,3, american Idol are selling well. Country and Party aren;t so hot.

    Is this right?

yeah, i put Volume 1 no manual scuffed up cd for $45, volume 2 & 3 both complete for $50 on last night buy it now and they all sold overnight.

So $145 for those 3 games I got for $45 worth of trade in at GS about 6 months ago. I am happy, it should buy about 30-40 or so NES games for my collection.
