Default Imported games question? (Japanese/north american, vice/vers

I am going to Japan in the summer, is there any games that anybody knows of that I could take with me to maybe trade over there (do they collect/play imports) Also is there any games I should look for when I am there. Any input would be greatly appriciated!

Well i do want a copy of of this book. Preferably the later versions ('93 and '95) but any version will be happily accepted. http://atarihq.com/tsr/books/allgame.html

Maybe a copy of Shonen Jump Monthly or Shonen Jump weekly wouldn't hurt either. i do want a copy of those though

    Have fun in Japan.

I'm not sure what to take over there... Maybe a couple Atari games in boxes, but I don't know what demand is there.

I have to say, I'd love to get my hands on any All-Soft Catalogs myself as I only have one (gold cover, 1997 I think, don't remember what publisher).

I'd list wanted games too, but it might overwhelm you. :-)

I would say to bring games that are USA exclusive to trade in Japan. I would imagine a demand for games they can't get their hands on exists. Same for you...look fr Japanese exclusive only games for newer/older systems. I know the PCEngine was HUGH there. Maybe you can score some Japanese rare HUCards or maybe a nice Supergrafx at one of the shops there!

If I send ya a buck or two, can you look for a couple of things for me?

Yeah, yeah, I know that's not what input you had in mind.

I lived in Japan for a couple of years, and found very, very little interest there in American imports. Could be just the company I kept however... Prepare yourself though for a bonanza of incredibly unique games even beyond what garners press here.

Take Comix Zone for the Genny. I think that's worth a lot over there.
