    Default VIDEO GAME Board Games.

Yesterday I picked up Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man at a thrift store. I've now got five of these board games.

    PAC-MAN
    MS PAC-MAN
    DONKEY KONG
    CENTIPEDE
    TETRIS

Joe's article in Tip's and Trick's on this subject included:

    PITFALL
    ZAXXON
    POPEYE
    MARIO BROTHERS
    TURBO
    FROGGER

I might have forgot some. I've also got a small travel game version of:

    GAUNTLET

It's got a small fold out board and the dice are in a plastic case you click to roll them.

So what are some others? Any not based on arcade games? Any one else collect them?

There are board game versions of Dragon's Lair and Tetris too, some others I think. I think there's a Zelda game, and there's also a bad Donkey Kong POG board game thing.
Selling collection, Atari through XBox. Send a PM with whatever games you're looking for.

Probably not based on the VG but TMNT and NES go hand in hand.

Tamogachi has a board game. seen it at goodwill.

I remember I had the Pac-Man one as a kid. You had to shove marbles up Pac-Man's ass! Well actually he was "eating" them, but they did go up his keister... I miss that game...

I have an import Super Zaxxon board game that's pretty cool. I looked in the little flyer that it came with and it seems EVERY Famicom Namco game got a board game!

Here's a link that shows some really rare board games that I've never seen before, including Ghosts N Goblins, Commando, and Gradius:

I've got a couple. Pac-Man, Zaxxon, Super Mario, Pac-Man Card game, and Donkey Kong. Plus if you count Magic: The Gathering style games, I have a sealed starter box and booster box of Mortal Kombat cards.

Edited: I also have Q*Bert and Street Fighter 2.

And here I thought I was one of a very few with this particular sub interest.

Ive got Tetris, Ms. Pac-Man, Zaxxon, Berzerk, and yes, Dragon's Lair. I've been thinking of doing a web site solely on video game related board games for months now. I keep trying to get my wife to help me out with it, but she doesen't have the bug like I do.

Something with complete scans of everything, rules, the board, the works. And reviews, that kind of thing. Anyone up for it?

Also if anyone is interested, I do have an extra Zaxxon for trade. Seems complete except for one piece (a barrel I believe?)

I have Q*Bert and the Donkey Kong card game got both of those at Cinciclassic...

I've been meaning to write an article about these games for my webpage, but I haven't found any more...and DP's Tips & Tricks article came out at the same time I was trying to research mine, so I shelved it (for now )

And I'm still trying to find out if I ever really had a board game version of the video game Blue Print. I can remember playing it, I remember buying it, heck I remember the board a little bit too (kind of reminiscent of that Crazy Climber game actually)...and yet, I've found no proof that it ever existed!!!

I am a huge Dragon's Lair fan so believe me when I tell you the board game version is very bad. The board doesn't even work like it is supposed to and is just plain confusing. It actually makes a better card game than a board game.
I think I even have an extra one though I'm not sure if it is complete and it would take a good offer for me to part with.

Yeah, there was this really creepy guy there...he wanted to play the Full Monty or something like that, really weird I'm telling ya...So I opened my wallet...gave him my singles (he was entertaining after all) and got the hell away. :P

Still haven't had a chance to play the thing :/
