Is pretty kickass, while they do not sell video games...for those of us who want arcade parts by sanwa and seimistu they are one of the best places to buy from. Great selection and solid service.
I ordered from Play-asia.com on friday. Let's see if they are as good as you guys say.
www.famicomshop.com -best place for famicom stuff. Run by a DP member.
Radiant's Ongoing Ebay Auctions
Although I believe Toys N Joys poor mail order service, both of their stores are actually really nice and they are really on the ball in person. :\
Import Games Japan
I've dealt with Jay many times and it has always been a pleasure. He lives in the US, but he keeps an apartment in Japan for his store restocking missions.
As for all the rest, my other favorite sellers are Hit-Japan, RX Japanese Toys & Video Games, and Yamatoku. Most of my collection has come from one of them or from Import Games Japan. I've also dealt with Wolfgames many times before as well, and I always love dealing with Matt. He's always been more than happy to just talk about the games with me, and he knows quite a bit about them, but sadly he's mostly out of business now the last I had heard.
I've also paid through the nose for a few things from Video Game Imports, but I don't really mind it because they do have a way of getting stuff that no one else can seem to get, so I expect to pay more for a service like that.
There are quite a few others who I've dealt with before too, but I either don't remember the URL's for their stores or I'd prefer to keep them to myself, because they still have quite a few rarities that I'm saving up for!
I also got a ton of PSX if your looking (but just this system most)
I have a question about NCSX that i can't find in the FAQ or anything. The maiil in payment option. I guess thats just a regular International*i'm from canada* money order from the bank right?
gawd i hate asking stupid questions*thus why i didn't e-mail and asked here instead* but it has to be done sometimes
You may not need an international MO since NCSX is located in the States. (I am not sure about that though) you can always email them and ask. support@ncsxshop.com
Sorry if I was not to helpful but I tried.
NCSX is fucking obscene expensive for shipping to canada, so much that I am 99% sure they are making a few bux with it. You are gonna get hit an 18% duty from fucking Canada Post or UPS/Fed Ex if it is over $30 USD or so, unless you get lucky and have a lazy mailman.
Also they do not accept pay pal from what I understand, gotta watch out when sending MO from canada also and vice versa, there are some shitty rules where they sometimes have to be International MO in for them to cash it.
P-A is still your best bet unless NCSX has something you have to have and everyone including ebay is out of stock.

I just wanted to chime in on Play-Asia since this was my first time trying them.
FANTASTIC experience!
Now I know why many members recommend and use them for imports.
Anyone know of any other good shops (other then some of the above mentioned) for PS1/PS2 imports?
As far as I know, everyone I've ordered from has been included in the listing.
Glad you had a good experience with Play-Asia!

a good start
Online, a lot... the thing is, their stores aren't that bad. Not the greatest prices, but what can you expect from a real store carrying imports?Dear gods, just HOW many people have Toysnjoys screwed over?! *seething anger*
I don't have a problem with their prices -- I don't expect domestic prices on imports to be as cheap as if I was ordering straight from Japan. I just expect to be treated the same as a customer in one of their brick'n'mortar stores, instead of havng my credit card charged $500 two months before I get anything in return while being consistantly lied to on the phone every time I called to inquire about my order.
I'm not out to get them or anything... I'm actually more amazed than anything that I keep finding stories from other customers about things that have happened...
There's actually a ToysnJoys thread somewhere around here - I should link it into the main post (need to get it stickied, too, I think).
Just off the top of my head, there's also
www.gamechoiceclub.com
www.jpngames.co.uk
www.genkivideogames.com
I bought an imported Sega Saturn arcade stick, the white version, from him a couple months ago. Very fast shipping, well packed and product works great. The prices seem pretty high but if I had bought the same stick from somebody in Japan, the price would have been less but more after you add in the international shipping.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.
Thanks for bumping this thread! Good knowledge for all!
I have been using National Console Support (NCS) for awhile, but they seem to sell out of everything at record pace!
