Just stumbled across this mental, mental auction.

Heh, well, there are a lot of retro magazine fans out there. That one takes the cake though, but then again, it IS from 1981. The early EGM/GameFans can go for a pretty penny, anywhere from 10 to 20 bucks an issue. Sometimes in the 30's. Some of the more sought after UK publications also are scarce to find, and thus people pay a lot whenever a lot is offered on auction (i.e. Sega Saturn Magazine, Super Play, etc.)

I'm thankful I have most of what I ever wanted.

The funny thing (that I should really have mentioned) is that he's also selling issue 2, currently going for £3.50. There must be something about the whole 'issue 1' mentality that gets to people...
