Default Hudson Soft's Same Game for Super Famicom

I recently picked up a copy of Hudson's Same Game ... however, it's a pretty strange cartridge. I looks a lot like a Super Gameboy, but with a pin connector inside instead of a slot connector. (A picture of the cart can be seen at: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~uw7g-bwr...e/samegame.htm )
The manual shows the cart being used with the BS-X system.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything more about this strange cartridge. Are there more mini-carts for it? Is the mini a ram-cart or something? What was the BS-X used for with it? Anything else known about it would be helpful.

I'm not sure myself, however it is VERY odd to see Bonk on a non-TG system, heh.

Yeah....I have a Gundam game (GNext) that's the same style cart. According to the pictures in the manual, it shows a satellite uplink....I think it was for some sort of online gaming, but I could be wildly wrong.

I'd like to say that I remembered what was going on here, but I'm not certain. I think this allowed you to pop in different carts and have characters from different games play the...

    Same Game..?

I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure I'm not confusing that with the MSX2 which did have some glitches possible when you hot-swapped different Konami game carts or what have you.

Any pictures or additional info on that game?

Sure. It's a hex based strategy game with SD Gundam Characters. I've got a pic of the game hosted here: http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/maxlords/images/Gnext.jpg

I've got a spare copy as well if you're interested....complete of course

Heres some info on the system:

I couldnt even find a rom to test it but this Excitebike remake sure looks fun. And they better port this for gba. While we are at it a zelda remake similar to metroid zero mission would be nice. :P

Hmmm...if you still have it at the beginning of next month and still take PayPal, I'll do that.
