Been thinking of picking up a few PS1 and PS2 light gun games, and I want to know: will a Guncon 2 or later for the PS2 also work with PS1 games (like the original Time Crisis or the import version of Biohazard: Gun Survivor)?
Thanks in advance.

The original Guncon 1 will also work with the PS2 games, but you need a Guncon 1 for the original Playstation games. Incidentally, you'll need a lime green Konami Justifier for Project Horned Owl and Lethal Enforcers 1 & 2.
Thanks. Are there any other Lightgun compatibility issues/limitations I should know about?
Also, is there an adapter to allow the Guncon to be used on the Dreamcast? If not, what are my options for Dreamcast lightguns?
Regarding Konami's lightgun games (and Die Hard Trilogy - which is compatible with it!), the Konami Lightgun will work on PS1 and PS2 systems, BUT. Playing these PS1 Konami gun compatible games with third party lightguns may not work on some PS2s. I have a couple of Naki guns with Konami gun compatibility and they won't work on my slim PS2, but other people here mentioned that they do work for them, so it might be related to the console model itself.
And there's like six or seven different kinds of lightguns for the Dreamcast. At least. But the best one are the Interact and Mad Catz ones.
However, IIRC lightguns will only work on CRT televisions.

Thanks. I have a CRT, and right now the only light gun games I have are both NES Zapper games (for the curious, they are Duck Hunt and To The Earth), so I'm looking to branch out into something more modern.
