What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.
Congrats. Looked it up and have to say I like the sleek 7800-ish design of it.

Man, so many games it's hard to even start a list. There's a "100 top 2600 games" thread over at Atari Age, that'd be a good place to start:
http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic...s-of-all-time/
Personally, most Imagic games are awesome (Demon Attack, Atlantis, Dragonfire, Cosmic Ark, etc). I like a lot of Atari games (Asteroids, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac Man, Phoenix, Millipede, Vanguard, Yar's Revenge, Adventure) and Activision (Pitfall, Kaboom!, Keystone Kapers, River Raid) games. I also like a lot of Apollo games (Space Cavern, Infiltrate). The list of awesome 2600 titles is long...

If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it!

We also have the Classic Discussions section, where you will find the two following threads:
Your Personal Top Ten: Atari 2600: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/show...ght=atari+2600
Top 25 Atari 2600 Games: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/show...ght=atari+2600
Even though these two threads are not as extensive as the one at Atari Age, they can still be a good source of info for good games.
For 2600, I liked Kaboom, Demons to Diamonds, Frogger, Atlantis & Cosmic Ark for starters.
Dodge 'Em
Turmoil
Solar Fox (NOT Star Fox)
To name a few fun, but less-than-obvious titles.
SeaQuest is AMAZING.
Pitfall!
Pitfall II
Chopper Commander
Yars' Revenge
Missle Command
Moon Patrol
Frogger
Asteroids
Berzerk is timeless.
Cosmic Ark
Atlantis
H.E.R.O.
Vanguard
River Raid
The guy I bought the Atari from said he's got like 80 games and with my System, hes gonna send me 10. He then asked me if i had some requests so I told him
River Raid, Yar's Revenge, Solar Fox, and Pitfall 1 or 2 or both. and two games I bought seperate were Berzerk and Solaris
What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.
Custer's Revenge
Cathouse Blues
Beat em' & Eat em'
Burning Desire
Knight on the Town
Galaxian, Yars' Revenge, and Space Invaders are still quite playable. Beyond those, I'd say find a good deal on an eBay lot and play whatever you get. Half the fun of the 2600 for me is seeing all the random stuff that got released.
If you message me, I have a whole box of commons I would sell to you cheap (say shipping costs +$10). I am guessing that there are probably 50+ games in there. There are repeats also. If you want them, message me your details. I was going to scrap them for projects or whatever, but if you want to play them, I would rather see them go to a new collector. Let me know. Thanks.
