"Atari's Fatal Run 2089 delivers over-the-top driving action as you battle across our post-apocalyptic world. You'll be drifting into hairpin turns while traveling at insane speeds across 20 levels from the Nevada desert to the remains of Paris, each with branching paths, shortcuts, and explosive set pieces."

I'm looking forward to this one. I loved the Atari 7800 game, it was one of my first vehicular combat games. I do have concerns, it looks like there's obstacle dodging which has never been my favorite game trope, I'd like more car combat and less zipping between laser beams or jumping off one tiny platform after another. I also hope there's no drifting mechanics in it... I'm old school, I'm not used to games that force you to use a button and trigger combo to slide cartoonishly around slight curves in the road. And then punish you for not drifting long enough and then forces you to do the course again. I just want to drive the way I want to drive. And I want an old school car combat game, a genre that seems to be almost dead nowadays. I hope it's good.
