raise a toast to Service Games
I honestly didn't know one of the original founders of the company was still around. I guess it's because more and more people are living into their 90s, and I haven't gotten used to that. I also didn't realize that he helmed Sega of America up until 1996.
Sega was a US company until the North American video game crash and Sega's owner at the time, Paramount Studios, sold it off to Sega's Japanese branch. It kind of makes me wonder what might have happened if Paramount hadn't sold it.
