Psst. Word on the street (and by street, I mean this site) is that eBay auctions now go in the auction forum.

Nice auction tho.

Ye, I know. But only 3.4% isnt it?
Yes they do and a rather large amount at that. Ebay gets around 20% of items sold for less than $10.Originally Posted by aaron_157
Paypal is also a way to get the around sellers who list a BIN for $1 and charge $19 for shipping and handling. Its still the same $20 if he a a $15 BIN with $5 shipping, but the seller does have to pay large Final Value fees. With Paypal, ebay gets a percent of the total sum of money shipping included. Thats why I charge $4 for something thats ships for $2.50, (Paypal, packaging, gas) Actually thats spreading that $1.50 pretty far.
I don't care because if Ebay does not like me adding to the shipping for Paypal I will take my buisness somewhere else. Its not such a problem with larger items but for sellers who sell large amounts of $5-10 items, the Paypal fess will RAPE their wallet.
Anyway ebay is double dipping... bottom line.
Is this your auction?? I'm assuming it is.Originally Posted by aaron_157

Are you offering to pay the fee every time you use the service?Originally Posted by jajaja
No, or what do you mean? 3.4% isnt that much imo. And if you have Paypal you might get more bids, which would cover the Paypal fees if you dont have Paypal.Originally Posted by Griking
I respect your decision to NOT accept paypal. They suck and I hope they come under more government control or more people like you start taking a stand against paypal. I think you would get more bids regardless or "paypal" or "no paypal" if you listed the condition of the games (mint, good, near mint, ect) I would like to use my credit card or bank account to pay for auctions but untill something more safe, secure , and honest comes along I will continue to use money orders!
Seller has awful feedback too...
Unfortunately I have to agree. I'd be concerned about bidding because of all of thisOriginally Posted by peeingas
Wow no kidding. The only way I'd bid on this is if I could pay in person. Even then it would be the old both let go at the same time thing with the cash and the merchandise.Originally Posted by Griking

Your gonna lose alot of bidders now...since you dont accept Paypal.Originally Posted by aaron_157
I hate getting fucking money orders.

There's no need to even leave the house to pay witha money order. You can pay using Bidpay and do it all from your computer. Bidpay's service fees are no more than you generally expect buyers to eat when they accept your Paypal payment so it really shouldn't be an issue.
