If I were to sell a disc game on ebay, I would think that an uncracked case would be a good thing. If the case was cracked, however, and I replaced it with a new jewelcase (transferring over the art and manual, of course), would you, the buyer, feel cheated if the switch were not mentioned in the auction?

In other words, would you, the buyer, prefer to receive the game in the original, damaged case, perhaps adjusting your bid downward, and retain the option to replace a cracked case yourself?

(I would replace a clear cracked jewelcase with a clear new jewelcase, and I don't know how the buyer would come to realize that there's been a switch.)

I know that this is a really picky question, but then, I know game collectors...
