I just preordered the official first party componet cables from EB games.com for $29.99, but it has the release date as December 15th? So i figured they just put that down because they were not sure what day later this week they would get them, but i called Gamestop earlier this evening and the employee said that they will not be out until at least early December. He then said that Nintendo did the same thing with the Gamecube componet cables after it launched. Well i own a 32inch Samsung LNS3241D lcd tv, and composite cables look like crap on it, and i want to enjoy Twilight Princess in all of its 480p glory. So why would Nintendo make us wait to play the game for another month if we want to play it with progresive scan? Because i do not want to play it in 480i with composite cables, i want to get the best posible picture out of what will probably be the greatest game ever created. And besides Perry Kaplin already stated that they would be available online and in stores on launch at particapating retailers. So what the heck is going on on? I want to play Zelda when it comes out with progresive scan, but we need the componet cables at launch to do that. I know that i am not the only one who wants the same thing. And what is up with the third party cables costing fifty bucks and being released earlier according to EBgames.com?
