So, I bought a used Dreamcast from a kid on Craig's List. I've never had a Dreamcast or even played one outside of a Sam Goody in 2000. Let me start by saying that this thing was sold to me in a shadowy house so I didn't know what it looked like until I got it home. This thing was FILTHY. I took apart one of the controllers and cleaned it thoroughly. Then, the console itself was so narsty I took it apart too and cleaned the case and dusted out the brown dust all inside the vent, etc. I put it all back together and it seems to work. I think. The only game I have is a Tony Hawk disc that has been scratched to hell. So, there is potential that I have not put this thing back quite right or maybe it wasn't so great to begin with. Here's my question in multiple choice format:

Does the Dreamcast make a sound like a floppy drive spinning when it starts the process of loading from the disc? As in when I press START to skip an animation or accept something on a menu?

a) Yes. Your Dreamcast is awesome.
b) Only if the disc you are playing needs to be thrown in the trash.
c) No. Only if you are a moron and took the thing apart because of your germophobia and aren't 100% certain you put all the screws in the correct place. It doesn't matter that you used them all - they could be totally jacked up, dude.
d) What?
