Dead Island (the thread)
Never heard of this game until tonight and watched the teaser trailer, which left me speechless both times I watched it. The games concept sounds very promising, you rely less on guns and more on actual survival. It's also said to have a leveling system of some kinds, which makes it sound like a serious version of Dead Rising with a dash of L4D, which I'm sure a lot of people will welcome with open arms.
If the game is anywhere near as incredible as the trailer, then I think survival horror has found it's new messiah.
