Default NES R.B.I. Baseball tourney (Omaha Nebraska)

For anyone who may reside in the Omaha area....

    -Saturday May 18th
-13th street Brickhouse Bar: Just north of the Sokol auditorium
2202 South 13th street Omaha, Nebraska.

.-$10 entry fee, with top players winning cash
-10:30 AM registration, with competition begging shortly after 11 AM.

    Competition set up.
    - The preliminary round will feature 5 to 6 games for each competitor. This will determine the top players who reach the tournament.
-The tournament will feature approximately 10 to 12 players, unless turnout dictates a larger field is needed.
-The opening round for the lowest seeds will be a single elimination game.
-For the final 8 competitors in the tournament, best of 3 series play will ensue, with best of 5 in the championship round.
-Every player will use numerous teams in different match-ups throughout the competition.

    Game play rules
-Anything goes style pitching. All 4 pitchers are available for each game.
-Infield fly rule can be agreed upon by both parties, but not enforced by officials.
-A game malfunction after 7 innings, results in the team with the lead being awarded a win. Otherwise in a tie the game is ruled no contest and the participants start the game over.
