Nov 3 - I got a Genesis, now about those games? (was the CDX was it worth it thread)

I may have an opportunity to get one of these things within the next week, kind of unsure about the whole thing. I for some reason recall them having some kind of issue with age or whatever I think with the CD part of it. I can't think of too many discs worth it that don't get $50+ sadly on ebay, so it would mostly be useful for the Sega Genesis slot which kind of goes as a negative against it I guess.

What do I need to know about this if I dare to take an interest in it?
