If I may be so bold... If a Playstation game uses CD audio, is it possible to rip it using an ordinary PC CD-ROM drive?
Here's the story: I purchased a used copy of Encore Software's Pinball Madness 2 a while ago, and while it's great fun, the version of Pro Pinball Timeshock included with the package has had its CD audio stripped. After checking around, it seems that this was an intentional move by Encore Software, who published the bundle.
After much mucking about with the tech support people, it occurs to me that I might be able to simply rent the Playstation version of the game from somewhere, rip the CD audio from it, and ultimately put together a fully functional CD of the PC game. Unfortunately, I have very little experience with Playstation CDs and do not know if this is possible.
