Like I said in ProgrammingAce's thread, I sent him a note explaining that those barcodes mean those games are directly from Nintendo's employee game library, just like the items Ben Smith sent me. That shit's the real deal.
Oh, this is Ace's thread:

Yeah, Robert's currently in need of a bit, none of the cartridges use normal screws. Last time we spoke, he said he was going to mailorder one.
home depot should have such a bit though.
isn't there a member here that sells earthbound and other repros on his site? what would the difference between the 2 possibly be? aren't the repros from an official pro cart?
can someone post the link to his site?
Well, this version might not be glitched to freeze up.

Omg.....
That's only a collector's dream to own a proto of an NWC! This thing has got be worth literally thousands of dollars. More so than even the gold NWC IMO.
This is just simply incredible.....
Is this really a proto? According to DreamTR this thing is:
Well, the NWC Semifinals all had 30 carts linked up inside special modded NESes. Why? Every single one of these carts had the SAME pattern of blocks fall down on Tetris during this specific 6:15 battle. This happened daily, I am almost sure that is what this is. One of the carts in the units.
Btw, Nicola, can you please use the thumbnail link instead?
Thanks![]()
Awesome!
The terminals at the NWC used regular NWC carts. The technicians carried around a little red tool kit with a few of them in it so they could switch them out if needed. They did not use protos like this at the event as far as I've been told, but I will ask Ben Smith if he remembers anything like this. I'll ask about the phone jack too...he'll probably know what it was for.Is this really a proto? According to DreamTR this thing is:

There is now 120 known NWC carts. :-)
Is this maybe the most valuable proto ever?
When you get a chance, can you get us pics of the inside of that cart?

If you use another controller in port 2, you can start the game.Originally Posted by JOLLERANCHER

Jason
I suggest to continue using this topic for Earthbound and continue the discussion about the NWC-Campus Challenge in the other >topic<
This is unbelievable! What a find! After all these discussions of whether these carts exist, they have been found. I would love to own those NWC and Earthbound carts.
***If you have any Transformers toys or Three Investigators books, let me know.***
I really hope these get dumped so we can see if the code is any different! This is unbelievable! What a find! After all these discussions of whether these carts exist, they have been found. I would love to own those NWC and Earthbound carts

I was reading all the posts on this wonderful find and I tought of something. Some time ago I won an auction on eBay for a SNES system with 7 games. There was a Starfox Super Weekend in the auction AND a Special Tee Shot prototype. In a way, it's similar to this Campus Challenge find. I guess the previous owner was also a Nintendo employee. Another thing in the auction is the Zelda 3 and Sim City games had -CAN ID instead of -USA. I found this was weird since the seller was from the US. Other games in the auction were Super Mario World, Super Tennis and Mario Paint.
