Strider 2 for the PSone, simply because I wanted the NTSC-J version. I could have got a PAL release for a fiver, but I wanted the import version. After missing an Ebay auction for a copy that finished at about £12 (due to stonedness) I was determined to get the Jpn version. Took a while but I got one for £20 inc. shipping. Bonus.

Also Mickey Mania and Earthworm Jim for the Mega CD. I refused to pay more than a fiver for PAL MCD games. So I didn't, just took a little waiting.

2 years of hunting to get 2600 Video Checkers.

    I still don't have SNES Mario All-Stars.

    Default My title

I would say "Ducktales" on NES. This was one game I just could not find locally. I grew tired of always getting beat out for copies on Ebay a few years ago, so I bid on two copies and ended up winning both auctions two days apart.

Maybe it is just me but it is a good thing I have all the Ninja Turtles games for the NES, because I never see any of them in my travels, outside of Ebay.

Believe it or not, but I had almost 100 games in my Atari 2600 collection before I finally came across a copy of E.T.
3,582 games and counting! Pics of tons of stuff!

Astro Warrior for SMS. Not the combo cart, but just plain ol' Astro Warrior.

I'll bet I'm not the only one, either.

I had to search two years for a copy of Jade Cocoon. I played it a few hours and got bored. Kinda disappointing.

Also, today I was lucky enough to find longbox Skeleton Warriors, even though it's common.

I have about 120 ntsc atari 2600 us games left to get. Strangley enough Pele's Soccer and Cosmic Ark are still ones that I need. I have them but both do not work.

It took me a long time to find Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest. I didn't outright look for it, as most times it was overpriced at the local vendors, but one day I found it for a fair price and felt a little relief in knowing my NES castlevania collection was complete. Contra took me awhile to secure too. I ended up getting two copies in the same month without realizing it. I could have sworn that I didn't buy it.

I still don't have a sealed (I say that only because that's 99% of what I collect, I do have a loose copy) super mario 3. I just feel its the most common title in the entire library sealed so there's always something better to spend the money on

heh yeah don't sweat it you're not alone I bought Bionic Commando twice in May. I was like d'oh! The funny thing the game came in the mail on a Saturday, I opened the box and saw THE GUARDIAN LEGEND on top (I bought 4 games total, TGL, Adventure Island, Jackal and BC)

But I was in such a rush to get out of the house and to the flea market I didn't check the other games.

After I bought BC from the vendor for $5 I drove home going "waitasec...."

Got home, grabbed the box, looked at the other games and sure enough there was BC on the very bottom.

    OH **** I thought :P

NES Contra is one I'm still in need of getting. I don't want to pay the $12+ average at the moment though. Waiting patiently to hopefully score one for $8 or less. A la Battletoads and Double Dragon

Took me awhile to find a copy of Buffy the vampire slayer for Xbox. Of course, i'm asking at EB if they had any copies one week, They have a loose copy. I didn't buy it. The next week they have a copy of it with the box! $10, i buy.

Also, it took me a year and 6 months or something like that to find a sega saturn. It was the first one i ever saw in person, but it was priced higher than i wanted to pay. I bought it anyway, $30 for it and 3 games.. Turned out to be free.

I still do not own a SMB/DH cart. Mainly since owning a loose cart is like me owning a playstation game - very rare. I do have the manual for the game though.
NintendoAGE - The best NES database engine available on the net!

My Collection - Well, kinda. One of these days I will actually get a pic of the whole collection and post it on there. Until then, I only have a few games in there with some additional collection info stuff.

I still need about 30 R1 or 2 for the NES (considering I only need about 200 more games, that a lot), but it's mostly because I don't want to shell out the money when I see them.
