First off, congratulations!

I don't want to be a dumbass, but how do those 3D glasses work? It appears that they plug into something, yet I assume you still view the game on a TV screen. I've watched a couple of auctions for just the glasses and was SHOCKED at what they went for! They can't be like those simple cheap glasses they give out at movie theaters for those prices, and yet I can't imagine that the technology to view the game on the lens of the glasses themselves was available back then.

I never would have dreamed I would eventually buy SMS games, but R-Type and Power Strike finaly drew me in and I bought a power base convertor to play them on. Don't know if the glasses work with the convertor or not. I also picked up Missile Defense and Zaxxon 3D, so I'm curious as to what effect the glasses would have on the games. Do they make all the difference in the world when playing the 3D games, or is it more of a gimmick/minor improvement thing?
