Can only be that high because 1. The SNES is complete and still sealed and 2. Those other two games are still sealed with one being Zelda: ALTTP. Other than those two reasons, I don't know why it's so high. Kinda insane indeed.
NintendoAGE - The best NES database engine available on the net!
My Collection - Well, kinda. One of these days I will actually get a pic of the whole collection and post it on there. Until then, I only have a few games in there with some additional collection info stuff.
Very high price, but it isnt super insane, or? A brand new NES was sold for like $700 (without any extra sealed games) a while ago. I have no idea what a brand new SNES goes for.
Chalk up another vote for insane. I've never seen a multilingual (sp?) Link To The Past though. Interesting, I don't know if those are common or not. :P
My first PC games and favorite game of all-time.
Guessing it's a Canadian release?Originally Posted by Synergy
Its really not THAT insane. one of the two is an original canadian release of LTTP, which sealed is quite rare. the controller is probably worth $40 to $60 and I have no clue on eye of the beholder. the LTTP is worth a good bit of money, though, so if that was taken out, it would be $200 or so less.
WOW I have 3 of them 1 original superset 1 killers instinct and 1 mini. Maybe I should put one up?
I had no Idea they would command so much this early. I was thinking maybe in a few years.

sorry for such a long link
thats about what they pull usually for just the system. ranges, though. I have seen some go as low as $290 and some as high as $410. the new zelda pack in bundle seems to fetch the most with (for whatever reason) the non game bundle fetching the second most.
I disagree entirely on the 200 value... Canadian lttps have been selling for about the same as million seller links... in other words about 40 bucks... my guess is the bidder didn't notice it was the canadian release... now, I think the canadian release should be worth more... but I've never seen one over $50 or so, at least for now.Originally Posted by raregamergirl
I just sold one on ebay not long ago for over $200 (when I got another in a package on ebay), the canadian release, via buy it now. since I got that much, I assumed that was the value on it. doesnt show up often from what I have seen. will try to find link to where I sold it, couldnt have been more than 3 months ago.
No it isn't. If it were sealed they wouldn't have been able to provide pictures of the contents inside the box which they did.Originally Posted by Hounder
I got my SNES new, but the box wasn't sealed. It didn't even HAVE a security sticker.Originally Posted by Griking

If you read the auction terms closely you'll notice those games are only included when the Buy-It-Now is used. I hope the bidder noticed that...Originally Posted by Hounder
SNES didn't come completely sealed. Only the contents on the inside so it is considered a sealed system.Originally Posted by Griking

relisted due to apparent NPB
$500 now BIN with the bonus items, pretty fair price in my opinion. lets see if it gets used. apparently the buyer was an idiot and decided not to pay, thats one of my personal largest pet peeves. I think the BIN will be used pretty quick.
