I second for these games to be put under the rumor mill section. Also is there a way to tell if your game is a Euro or US release by the part #?Originally Posted by mikeetler

I see wolfchild quite a lot even boxed. Hard to find are the late games, especially the third party ones are hard to find. For some reason the Sega-published games are all much easier to find then the oes of other companies.Originally Posted by ataribob
Aww guys this is my territory i started collecting 'PAL' Game Gear games. I'd say that among the rarest to find boxed and complete are:
Sonic Labyrinth (just won this but the back is missing a corner)
Sonic Blast (not seen this complete yet since i started this summer)
Baku Baku (seen 1 in recent memory)
Ristar (same as Baku Baku)
Adventures of Batman and Robin (not seen)
Fatal Fury Special
Galaga 2
Legend of Illusion
Ren and Stimpy
Tails Adventure
Tempo Jr
Virtua Fighter Animation
X Men
I have scans for all of these (box is missing for Galaga 2 but i have manual scan)

Right after a long search i have found for definite 184 "PAL" Game Gear games (DP has most of them listed)
From what DP has listed i can't evidence of EURO versions of
PGA Golf 96
CJ Elephant Fugitive (altho im positive i saw it recently) and
NFL Quarterback Club
Rise of Robots
Bart VS the World
I have my suspicions about the following
Joe Montana Football - the UK and US carts look the same, exactly the same, i can only find US boxes so far so i cant tell if its just a box variation
Evander Holyfield Boxing is the same
and finally
Revenge of Drancon - an interesting little bugger that has eluded me in my search for Game Gear games for ages! I suspect this doesnt exist in EURO form again as it has the same look, exactly as the US one. I heard a rumour its just wonderboy import?
The others, i have box scans/ pics for most and the rest i have what appear to be definite EURO cart styles with the white border at the bottom, with the blue SEGA logo above a EURO Game Gear logo. If someone wants a list so far ill do it tomorrow.

Have you got your list online somewhere?
The Online Rarity Guide is a lot offline here...
I still have no good internet access @ home but I will have a look in those games, because I have some mentioned.

Hmm, maybe im wrong with the ones im suspicious about....add Phantom 2040 to the list of hard to findies.

I didn't add anything to the list without seeing a pic first, so all of those you mentioned should exist. I guess it's possible that I confused a couple of US/Euro releases, but I was being pretty careful about that.Originally Posted by garyfoo182

(I'll PM you this evening Gary )
i thought i saw one or two but i may be wrong. ANyhoo as far as i can tell the early GG releases had similar carts in both NTSC-US and PAL-EURO regions, possibly due to lack of region coding. Later releases are easy to distinguish between.
As far as im aware there are only three i cant find eBay evidence for apart from those ones im stuck on

Actually i just checked my EURO copies of
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog Choas
Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble
Sonic 2 in 1 and
Sonic Labyrinth
all of the carts are in the style of what i believed was the 'early' look for Game Gear games but it appears that (if sonic labyrinth is anything to go by) this occured all the way up to 1995 at least.
The world of Game Gear is a fascinating place.

All of those titles had a Euro release apart from PGA Tour 96 which I'm not sure of. I'll try to post pictures of my GG boxed collection at the weekend.Originally Posted by garyfoo182

THE US list still needs some crazy updates.
has anyone seen a boxed euro version of the sports 4 in 1 game? I heard from someone that copies exist

Yeah, boxed ones exist - I think sharp has a copy. Last one I saw on eBay ended at £1.50 with no bids (I forgot to bid and the seller didn't respond to my emails )
My EURO Game Gear collection is coming along slowly but surely. So far my prize keepers include:
Ristar
Sonic Labyrinth
Sonic Blast
Tempo Jr.
and
Adventures of Batman and Robin
all boxed and complete.
It's weird how impossible some of them are to find though.
