Post new board problems and questions here

Is it normal for a mod to have to approve a post before it goes up now? The last 2 posts I've tried to make have both given me that message.

Why do smilies count towards the ten picture limit per post?

Also, previously, both :P and (lowercase p) would activate the smiley, but now only one does.
