visited my first value village today (seems it was 1 mile from my house, and I never knew!)

really excited and impressed to find a bunch of different video game items at very reasonable prices. Ended up buying an NES becase of the oh so perfect condition.

Went to A TRU Today, Picked up Feel the magic for DS and Ape Escape 3 for PS2. Ape escape 3 is a dissapointment, Feel the magic is unique.

$15 without tax. I'm glad I didn't buy ape escape 3 when it first came out.

I went up to the pawn shop today in hopes of finding a subwoofer for my entertainment center and found a few other things instead.

    For PC:
    Sega PC Collection -
    Sonic CD (6805)
    Sonic R (6825)

Then there were a few first person shooters.
    Sin
    Painkiller Heaven's Got a Hitman
    Deus EX

Each PC game was $1 and were in nearly mint CD condition. Each had their CD cases and inserts except Painkiller, which only lacks a manual. Some of the games I believe came in boxes so that's abscent whichever did.

Lastly they had Volumes 1-7 of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex for $30! They are lacking the special box to hold them all but the cases are perfect along with the DVDs (which I checked before purchase). I need to somehow find that box now.

Picked up Fight Night Round 3 for 360. Cost me $29.99 at the hated Wal-Mart.

An ebay purchase arrived today (super fast shipping!):

Atari XE system w/ kbd, light gun, XE joystick, 2600 stick.

Games: Fight Night, Pole Position, Donkey Kong Jr., Lode Runner, Bug Hunt, Final Legacy, Robotron:2084, Barnyard Blaster, Rescue on Fractalus, Flight Simulator II, Necromancer, Blue Max and Joust.

A couple of the games have instructions, but most are just loose.

    $60 including shipping.

Not a bad deal. I had a couple of Atari 8-bit carts sitting around for a while, but couldn't play them. I remember seeing Necromancer in magazines in the 80s, and thought it looked cool. I'm digging it so far.

This is apparently Atari Month for me, as I got an XE and 5200 in the last couple weeks. =)

From the GameCrazy 3 for $10 sale:

    NES:
    Iron Tank (loose)

    Game Boy Color:
3D Ultra Pinball: Thrill Ride (loose)
The Little Mermaid II: Pinball Frenzy (loose)

Little Mermaid Pinball Frenzy is now the girliest game I own. Needed it for my video game pinball collection, though. Kinda surprised the guy at GameCrazy didn't say anything about it.

Um .. I think you're in the wrong forum, bud

I know the Wii and the PS3 are out now, but I don't think the 360 is consigned to the retro bin just yet ...

I thought finds were considered finds in this thread, retro or current.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

Also there is no real "whatcha get lately?" thread in the modern gaming section. I listed the GameCube games I got above and although that's starting to fade into the sunset it's not quite a classic yet...

I just list things I find game related or that deals with how I play games including audio equiptment, networking tools, ect. Unless they want to do a global or seperate classic and modern finds threads it doesn't matter to me but for the time being to keep things cleaner, I just post in the monthly threads in classic.

Well, someone started a similar thread in modern gaming now. The big question is...where do I list my GameCube gets now? It's dying out so it'll be a classic system before long, I guess.

And today I got 1080 Avalanche for the system

Flea Market...Beautiful Day out.......Dry on Games though....It's amazing to not see one Nintendo in such a huge Flea market..
Atari 2600 systems I did see of the many....
Beat up Atari Lynx, untested $30.00 WHAT!!

    .................................................. .....

Sega Master System, two controllers, gun and SMS Plug $10.00..
    PS2 Socom $5.00(I didn't own)
    PS2 Twisted Metal Black $5.00 (I didn't own)
Sega Saturn Virtua Cop with extra Gun $5.00
    NES Stuff $10.00
Handheld Games 3 for $15.00...I only paid that price because I wanted the Game & Watch Mario Cement Factory(working) that he would not let go for less then $10.00

I was ready to leave, and I saw a kid looking through a bunch of computer games on a table..I Never go to the high priced crazy person vendor he was at.
Out of curiosity I went over to take a look at what he was walking away from and came across a closed green bin on the table next to the computer games.
    Hmm,what's in here..

Famicom.....Whoa!! I never found one of these at a flea market.
$40.00 with a bunch of games....Everything was real well kept,clean... the games were all in the black tin that I have no clue what it is..

Nice cheap score Videogamerdaryll. I've only seen a Famicom around here once (omitting conventions) and it was like $80 boxed with controllers but no games included.

I know this thread is in CLASSIC GAMING, but I think ANY finds (old or new) should be welcomed here. Does anyone agree/disagree?
