Hi everyone.
I've got several consoles on the go, among them a Saturn and an Xbox360. I bought one of those multiple SCART connectors so all my consoles can be plugged into the second SCART socket on the TV at onceand there's no swapping of cables to play a different machine. It's not a fancy multiple SCART connector - just one of those boxes with 5 SCART socket connected in parallel and you simple make sure only one device is switched on at a time so there's no interference. Nice and simple, you know
Anyway, for some reason, the Saturn's audio output is severely attenuated whenever the Xbox360 is also plugged into the multiple SCART connector (even when the X360 is switched off), although it doesn't affect the Megadrive's or PS2's sound.
If I unplug the X360, the Saturn's sound is fully restored. I realise I've done this all on the cheap, and I'm probably paying for it by not getting a multiple SCART connector which actively isolates the inputs from one another, but if anyone can anyone shed any light on how I might fix this issue in the meantime I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
