Default Best Sega Ages volumes (PS2)?

I just got into imports for the PS2, and I bought both the Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box (Vol. 25) and Sega Memorial Collection (Vol. 23). I also own the U.S. Sega Classics Collection. I'm just trying to figure out if there is a list of the Sega Ages volumes and which of those are the best.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

    Here ya go:

I have the Space Harrier II one (vol. 20). It has really a great version of the arcade original, Space Harrier II for Mega Drive/Genesis, and Space Harrier and Space Harrier 3D for Master System. You get a super play video and some artwork as well. I think it's really well done I would recommend it.

Generally, it looks like the more recent releases are more likely to be your original 2D emulations, while the earlier ones are 3D remakes. Perhaps someone else can give some more info on this.

Monster World Collection, out in March, looks like another possible winner.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting the Space Harrier volume, but I didn't know if it was different than the Space Harrier remake on the Classic Collection, which really wasn't that great at all, IMO.

Gain Ground and Die Hard Arcade are my favorites. The Die Hard disc even has the Saturn version of the game, as well as the Deep Scan arcade game on it too.

No need to worry, I'm not a total expert, but I think it's about as close to the arcade original as you can get.

Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box & Tetris Collection are definitely worth the price of admission. Wonder Boy Collection should be good but of course not all the games will have english (ie, Monster World IV, one of the best in the series) unfortunately. Other than those 3... I'd say I look forward to the upcoming releases such as Fantasy Zone II, Galaxy Force II, & Virtual On.

The Space Harrier collection is emulated versions of the arcade, sms, and mega drive games. The early Space Harrier release is the 3d remake that is also on Sega Classics.

Sega Classics is a very good buy, especially now that you can get it for 2 DOLLARS at best buy if they still have it. The 3d remakes are better than many give them credit for, although nothing TOO special. I like the ahrrier, fantasy zone, and alien syndrome ones myself. Tant-R and Bonanza Bros are great games too.

The only downside to the Classics game VS the JPN releases is that the JPN ones tend to come with lots of cool extras like t-shirts or what not (the harrier collection, ie the one not out in the US, comes with 3-d glasses for the SMS game for example).
