I moved this to Arcade Alley.
Anyway, you sound more than happy, so I think you made out just fine. I suggest keeping the JAMMA harness intact and if you go the dreamcast route, make yourself a DC->Jamma adapter/converter.

RadiantSvgun, here's some thing for you if you have a whole lot of money laying around.

Yeah but they aren't extremely common. I guess no cabs are extremely common these days considering the arcade isn't very popular anymore. I've seen one AtomisWave cab and that's it. It was in a Chuck-E-Cheese in Washington state. (I think it was a CEC anyway...one of those pizza/game places...) It was like a buck a game though so I only played once. One game doesn't last very long when you're playing a fighter for the first time....do they use AtomisWave cabs in the US?

Don't think of me as a youngn' just a collector that learned his basics from a Pico.
I just like that tingling feeling in my eyeballs when I play VB.
I am looking for a Mini Neo Geo 2- slot 13".
I've seen that before, and if I had that much $$$ laying around, I would drop it on an Atomiswave in an instant.
The Atomiswave in my local walmart had no phone numbers for a distributor of any kind on it. I wonder if walmart actually owns the cabinet? I was hoping I could get a decent deal on it, since there is layers of dust on the buttons. I'll just have to wait around and see about getting a lucky deal one day.
