That's the kind I have. It's made by Honey Bee. They do seem to be getting on the scarce side as of late. I luckily found mine at a local game store a few months ago. They had two of them and said they'd been sitting there for quite some time. I love it. It allows me to play Crazy Climber.

You can get one here for $15, assuming they have them in stock:

The world has moved on and left me behind. Therefore I choose to retreat into the past.

Everything these guys have told you is correct, but for the about the same money you can get a game genie and have the added functionality of cheats and hacks. Breathe new life into some classics! But you would have to remove the guards (from the genie) as stated above by using a good pair of pliers. That's how I discovered that it worked back in the day because I didn't want to risk mangling my beloved SNES. Keep us updated on your situation. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

I thought Game Genie's needed a code to run certain games like that? Or was that when you used a game genie to bypass the lockout on the sega genesis?

Yes, for some later first party games you'll need a Must Be On code. The Game Genie also won't work with a few games that use FX or other special chips. But for most imports it'll work fine.

Then I still stand by the "clip the plastic tabs". I don't understand why you would buy a converter when the conversion is that simple.

Cool. Thanks for the link. I just ordered one. I'll find out if they have them in stock as I couldn't find any on Ebay. And, that's the exact one I had, box and everything.

it says "Now you can play your favourite European and Japanese SNES cartridges on your USA Super Nintendo system! Item is brand new and is guaranteed for 30 days!"

I thought you needed a Special Converter for it to play Euro SNES Games

Bah. It was a bust. My CC wasn't charged and they cancelled the order. Can you guess why? Yup, item was no longer in stock.

I hate when online stores don't update stock on their website.
