Oklahoma DP Roll Call!
SEGA must have sent more copies up to Canada than they did here.
Even seeing more than a single copy is in itself a rarity.

I had a couple questions about Pirates of the Caribbean.
1. Isn't that the Pirates game which mimics the Sid Meier's Pirates formula, which I know is also a separate XBox game on its own?
2. Is that one very hard to come by or even costly? I know it is licensed and should be common. I do see used (potentially disc only) copies on GameStop's site yet I don't remember seeing it in person.
I stopped by a MicroCenter computer store today, and they had two copies of Outrun 2006-Coast to Coast on their shelf, priced $29.99. They only had one regular Outrun.
Thanks to all the info in this thread, I've been able to snag a few potentially collectible games, and fairly cheaply too. Bought Predator: Concrete Jungle today for $16.37 and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil for $17.90. I also stopped holding out and bought Sid Meier's Pirates! before they all disappeared off the shelf for $19.90. Ah, yes. Good time to be an Xbox collector.
I finally snagged a copy Outrun 2006 at Blockbuster for 15.00. Only copy I've ever seen. Everything else should be fairly easy now. I'm trying to decide whether or not I really want to spend 23.00 on Jedi Outcast tomorrow. Or whether I want to get Streetfighter 25th Anniversary since those 2D fighters have been tough for me to find. I'll end up getting both, I'm sure.
Waitasecond......
So you're telling me that Outrun 2 is rare? I should have kept it sealed and sold it for $400.00 on ebay, just like I've been trying to sell my PS3 picture on ebay for $2000.00 (no buyers yet, but it's hot! the picture is hot!)
Damn! Maybe I shouldn't have had that guy scribble his name all over the bottom part of the inner cover artwork.
It's not like he made the game anyway, he was just the guy that did the music remixes.
Some dude from the UK named Richard Jacques. I never heard of him before, but I ran into him at that Game Developers Conference thingie that was held last March in San Francisco (boring!) which was also at the same time as that really lame and retarded concert called "Video Games Live". I happened to purchase this game that day and I was reading the back when he snatched it out of my hand, ripped apart the plastic wrapping, took out the artwork, signed it in a silver pen then gave the whole thing back to me. I wuz like WTF? man! Who r j00! an he's like I'm the one who made the music in the game so I was like s0 whut? You just ruined my game cover man! Now I can't sell it back to Gamestop and have them pay me only $2.00 for it when I originally spent $25.00 on it! It's ruined! I can't play a game with a mint disc knowing full well that some dude from England signed his name on the cover. ARRGGGHHH!
I mean, what do people think? Video game music is to be taken seriously? HAH! Video games are for kids! Next thing you know, they'll be letting people say the word 'bitch' on regular television shows, movies in the theater will cost $10.00 and up, packs of cigarettes will be over $2.00 and you'll be seeing gasoline prices go past $3.00! Impossible. Impossible I tell you! muahahahahaha!*
* For those who do not realize it, I am joking.

Coast 2 Coast is rarer than Outrun 2.
If you could had had him sign a copy of C2C then you might be looking at something you could sell on ebay.
I would have killed to go to that "Video Games Live" in Chicago a year or so ago....Yuzo Koshiro was there.

So what's the size of everyone's Xbox collection? I've got 285. That's after about three years I think. Most of the rare games we've mentioned I bought earlier when they weren't that difficult to acquire. I've got to say, though, the best Xbox games seem to be fairly easy to find. In a way it's good. Unlike the PS2, which apparently has quite a few great but rare titles, people should be able to sample the best the Xbox has to offer without much trouble.
I've got 37 XBOX games, but thats meager considering I have twice as many Genesis games than that.
And the Genesis is my largest collection.

I want to say maybe 200-400. I think I have all the Japanese-only games, but I have nearly zero sports games and only some racing games, which make up two of the biggest slices of the Xbox's catalog.
I'm not sure how many I have, since my brother's got my collection right now, but I've got to have somewhere around 200 titles, give or take. I must have bought around 100 since December.
I've got around 100 - 110 Xbox games. I used to buy the Xbox version every time there was a cross-platform release, but I stopped doing that when I found out the 360 wasn't 100% backwards compatible and prices of the rare games started to dip hard. Now I just pick up the PS2 versions unless it's an Xbox exclusive.
65 Xbox games, including several of the rare games mentioned in this thread such as F1 2001, but I only buy games I have a interest in playing on the system so I'm pretty satisfied with that collection (F1 2001 sucks by the way )
