Whats Your Favorate Start Up?

I'd say that the Saturn has the coolest startup screen (Flying polys that form the logo), followed by Famicom Disk System (Mario & Luigi fighting until you set the disk!)

#4. Gamecube: luved this one first time I saw it just made the GC Feel like a Nintendo system unlike the N64 wich felt like an unfinished console for some reason.

To me the Gamecube felt unfinished. I'd go into further detail on why, but then I'd be going off the main topic.

Hrm, looks like I voted on this one back when it was started but neglected to say anything.

My top 5 are (in order):

Man, it's hard to pick, but I have to go with Genesis. Simple, clean, and fun. Plus specific games had extra animations that were always entertaining. I also really liked the DC and Cube startups. I'm pretty ambivalent about the others.

I really dislike the 'health and safety' reminders for the DS and Wii system startups (and the Wii's wrist strap reminder screen). Definitely my least favorite.

I love the Jap Saturn bootscreen. I just love the way it comes together

Playstation for me, it was my first CD based console and the startup always seemed to amaze me at the time.

I forgot to mention the Wonderswan screen. It's easy to forget because it's so brief, but that's why I like it. Unlike any other system, it is short enough to never get in the way of some instant gaming.

#1 DC - calm and smooth, plus i'm used to hearing it
#2 PS2 - i like how it goes into the ocean waves in the menu
#3 PSP - the wavy lines look good

Love the dreamcast startup, my vote is for the dreamcast.
