Here's a duesy of a first post -- some info on the RCA Studio II!

http://www.old-computers.com/magazine/view.asp?r=2&a=14

The article consists of instructions and a schematic on how to scratch-build a crude version of the unique Selector Switch unit (RCA part number 18V102, according to my manual). In case you're not familiar, the Studio II uses an odd switch box that routes both the power supply and the video connection through a single line from the system. Very unorthodox, and very hard to find.

Though I understand the basic tech info, I have not the least bit of electronics-repair skill or equipment. What I'd really love is to be able to find an original Selector so I can get my very first console ( ) running again. Anyone have any leads?
