It's purty!
Little late with these but I'm just now returing after a short hiatus. From the flea market and Sy the miscellaneous junk dealer had a couple interesting things. I found a model 1 Genesis along with a model 2 Sega CD sitting atop some electronics garbage, found the adapters and instruction booklet for the SCD in a box nearby. There were some loose SCD super commons but they had been stepped on and cracked by the time I found them. It all works 100%, the Genesis 1 will probably be USA/JPN + 60Hz/50Hz + RCA composite modded and sold, I'll more than likely hold the SCD until I pair it with a modded Genesis 2.
In another box I found a Virtual Boy with the stand and controller attached. The controller has its battery compartment and the system had Virtual Boy Wario Land inside - anyone that knows VB knows it's one of the premier games on the platform. I tossed everything in one box and he said $10 for it all - no problem. The VB amazingly works perfectly - I was expecting it to be damaged considering how rough his wares are handled. I have a boxed complete one as well as VB Wario Land but I think I'll hang onto it as a second always out unit - just need to get a visor and visor plate for it. Anyone have a couple spares they'd like to sell?
Aside from that I bought four NES games from my buddies for $2 each and a Monopoly LCD handheld for $1 from a clothing vendor. On the way out I stopped by a game seller with crazy high prices and crazy shitty inventory, most of the time he's not out there. He's had a copy of Tobal 2 FOREVER and well, quite honestly, I was tired of seeing it beat up in his boxes. I grabbed it and a copy of Bionic Commando for the NES for $10 - a little high yes, but I don't mind paying $5 for each.
NES - Bionic Commando ($5.00)
NES - Fisher-Price I Can Remember ($2.00)
NES - Ikari Warriors ($2.00)
NES - Star Trek 25th Anniversary ($2.00)
NES - Toobin' ($2.00)
PS1 - Tobal 2 (JPN) ($5.00)
I also poked around a few stores over the weekend, Alleyway is from a Gamestop and Grandia III is from an FYE. The original Grandia is my favorite RPG but I didn't care much for the uninsipred storyline in Grandia II. Sure it was fun to play and the battle system was as smooth and wonderful as ever, but I never really gave a damn about the characters - the ending was pretty lackluster as well. As for Xtreme, I was smart enough to just stay away. However Grandia III looked like it was going to head back more to the roots of the series. I've only played a couple hours but I'm going to stick with that assumption, it's been a blast thus far and reminds me a lot of the original.
GB - Alleyway ($2.99)
PS2 - Grandia III (19.99)
Yeah that's probably why I'm having trouble completing Grandia II on Dreamcast...the lackluster characters coupled with the fact that I keep running out of health. Good find on that Tobal...
Anyway, got my Circuit City Black Friday stuff that I ordered online in the mail:
Bust a Move Deluxe (PSP) - $5
Call of Juarez (360) - $10
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers (PS2) - $5
Guilty Gear (PSP) - $5
Splat Magazine Renegade Paintball (XB) - $5

If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

My Feedback here.
I stopped at Goodwill yesterday to look for black octagonal plates to finish my wife's goal of a 20 piece dish set (she got a bunch for her birthday to add onto the settings we all ready have). No dishes but I found the following, all new and sealed:
360 Tomb Raider:Legend $7
Xbox Gun: $5
Xbox X-Men 2: Rise of Apocalypse $5
They also had lots of "Matrix: Path of Neo" for Xbox, a couple "The Godfather" and a couple more 360 Tomb Raiders. Peeling off one of the Goodwill stickers there was remnants of the original store's price sticker and it looked a lot like Target's.
Around here the GW and SA both get Target clearance items that don't sell. What's funny is that they've often been marked down so much at Target that if the person pricing isn't paying attention, they will be marked higher at GW. They'll fix it if you point that out, though.
I got a Genny RF Switch today. $1. I've been having a lot of real work, but it's late at night so I can't really go to flea markets lately.
Now if only I could find two damn Genesis 1 power supplies...
Most NES games from the thrift store. 30 bucks
