Finally some new saturn games! I only had bubble symphony and gunbird.
Got these for 25$
I wish it could have a long detailed story, but it's quite short heh. Two prominent Vectrex collectors both decided to sell off their stuff before Xmas; a lot of the high value items have gone to either myself or Chris Romero. Which actually reminds me, have to ask him if he got the Minicade or not, massive shipping costs ahoy...

First in-person pickups this year:
I've been wanting to try Scurge for awhile.
Kind of odd day at the Goodwill. They do Toddler Thursdays where kids clothes and toys are half price. Well for some reason NES stuff is included in this, and that sorta makes sense. Good for me since they had a NES console and zapper and 6 games. Figured it would apply to other cart games, so I grabbed the 32X games that were there and a couple of the Genesis carts, too. All these games were marked $2 and for that I wouldn't have bothered, but a buck I could handle, so it was nice that the discount applied to all of them. There were two PS1 games (Qbert and Centipede) marked 6.99; a bit steep so I was hoping for the discount since they are kiddie games (or that's what I said anyway)... no dice there, so I passed. Grim Fandango I was happy to pay 5.99 for. Then we have the PS2 for $15. I figure it probably doesn't work, but they have a generous return policy, so I was going to buy it anyway... she gave me the 50% off on that for some reason, but not the $2 power cord that was separate. Turns out it had a disc read error, but when I opened it up the lens was filthy, so a little cleaning and bam: it reads every color disc and DVD I fed it.
Then the weirdest thing was the contents of this Heroes of Might and Magic box (okay, so it isn't that weird, but a little)
So it is in French (which I did notice ahead of time), but also it is Mac, which I missed. Get home and open it up and find this hodgepodge of stuff:
Mac Phone manual, MacMoney manual, the Sims manual, Sim City 2000, Heroes of M&M manual/inserts (no game discs), and the best: Transylvania, a high resolution graphic adventure complete, I'd wager. It has what looks like a typewriter typed note that isn't cut in quite a square that says "YOUR DISK IS NOT COPYABLE. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO COPY IT, YOU MAY HARM YOUR DISK". I thought that was funny anyway. Might take it back, but since I for some reason got the 50% off on it, the 1.50 isn't really worth it.
I got this yesterday at the Georgia State University Bookstore of all places:
-Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: $29.99 (new) (Xbox 360)
I was happy to find this game, simply because it was the last copy left at the bookstore. I heard this game was a lot better than Morrowind, so I picked it up.
I went to a CD/Game Exchange this evening and had a good haul:
NES:
BreakThru (cart only) - $1
Othello (cart only) - $1
Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (cart only, R4) - $1
Cobra Triangle (cart only) - $2.50
Ski Or Die (cart only) - $2.50
Solomon's Key (cart only) - $2.50
Genesis:
Bonanza Brothers (cart only) - $2.50
(Oddly enough, the store had another copy of BreakThru that was pretty beat up, and it was priced at $10. My copy was in excellent shape.)
picked these up for $10 at goodwill:
C=64:
pitstop CIB
i am the c-64 volumes 4, 5, & 6 CIB
games II and games III of the commodore public domain series
Two more GameCube titles arrived today. I've decided to stop collecting for this system when I reach 150 titles for it. This gives me 149 with the 150th also on the way. Today I received...
Backyard Baseball (the original one, not the 2007 edition)
Wario Ware, Inc.
Gangster Town (CIB)
Enduro Racer (CIB)
I never considered collecting for the SMS before, I may start now. I found these for 50 cents each.
Picked up two PC games today:
Jedi Knights - Dark Forces II
Age of Empires
Both are complete in big boxes, $2.50 each. DF2 is in a gold box and AoE is either an original or some early release. Both are on CD-ROM format. It's nice to have the sequal to Dark Forces and will need to keep an eye out for Jedi Outcast and Academy.
There were two Monty Python Waste of Time PC games I passed on, also an original copy C&C for MAC.

I returned Fight Club and Beyond Good and Evil to Gamestop and got Resident Evil Essentials instead. Cost me like thirteen bucks.
I also found a copy of Office XP Pro for three bucks. It's not for resale, so I'm keeping it.
Also, I found around eight or nine PS1 games... without discs. The seller had the discs but it looks like someone swiped them when he wasn't looking, so he gave the cases to me. Poor guy. He gave 'em all to me for a buck. I like that particular seller, he doesn't deserve to get screwed over like that. >_<
