Has anyone heard anything positive/negative about this game? Some friends have reserved it and are trying to get me to buy it also, but I haven't really heard all that much.
I think it comes out tomorrow.

I"m in the same situation. A couple of my friends have reserved it and i'm waiting for some reviews before i get it. Does anyone know if it has any multiplayer? like death match or something? Multiplayer really decides on wether or not i buy games now.

If your friends have bought it, I don't think you'd need to unless you wanted to play with the AI since "co-op is the game"
Vaguely excited about this one, though I probably won't play it for a long while.
Anyone try this yet? My friends live an hour or so away, and we all three work ... so I haven't gotten to talk to them.
Do you know if online multiplayer co-op is available for this game?
yeah there is online co-op which is basically the big thing about the game. I got it this morning and it actually is very good. I'm not sure how long it'll last but so far the story, cut scenes, and gameplay are awesome.

^ Thanks for the opinion.
The reviews I read said the game was 'good' but was much more immersive in co-op. The single player mode is effective but does not draw you into the game...
I picked the game up tonight on a whim, I was looking around Best Buy and saw it in a "secured" area by the checkout, so I decided to give it a go. So far I'm enjoying the game, the single player mode seems very effective thus far and two of my friends picked it up today as well, so I'll probably give the co-op mode a go in the near future.
The AI kind of went screwy at me at one part, I needed medical assistance but he just kept on running past me. At another part he started dragging me to a very odd location, by the time I was patched up I had failed the mission due to time constraint. Both instances are forgivable tho, since it was partly due to my own stupidity and there were a lot of things going on at once, so that may have been the problem.
Overall tho the AI is tight, probably the best I've seen in any game recently. He doesn't end up doing everything for you, nor does he get stuck trying to run through a wall. So it's nice to see that they were able to polish everything out to where it's just about right.
To me the game is what Denied Ops should have been. Despite the fact that I only played the demo, what was there felt very lacking and the demo ends at a point where you really would've had a chance to see how the whole AI aspect would've worked. I'll still probably pick the game up when it has a huge price drop, since I'm sure it would be a good budget title, but the reviews I've read pretty much sum up what the demo told me.
I found a copy tonight. Everyone has been sold out since release.
A buddy and I played through about half of the game, and a few matches online.
It's lived up to my expectations. It's pretty solid. I'd definitely give it a 8.5 or 9 out of 10 thus far.
^ I know it's not "so much better." I just seem to get less of a migrane when not shopping there; Walmart will at least let me check-out in peace.

I know exactly what you mean. Every time I walk in it's the same junk. My favorite is when they try to make it seem like a deal when you sell them 3 games that cost you 60$ for another game that you'll still pay 20 bucks for....but yeah Army of Two..great game. I'm only on level three; been working to much this week to play a lot of it.
